The Studco SlimCeil® ceiling system is a solution for compact ceiling cavities. The Studco SlimCeil Ceiling System consists of a C-channel section and a series of four brackets, designed to provide adjustable stand-off points for fixing the channel. The bracket range provides an overlapping series that covers ceiling cavities from 37mm through to 108mm. It’s the simple, easy to install and fast answer to small ceiling cavities. Greater load strength can be achieved using the SlimCeil system, refer to table 18 for load ratings.

As the trend in high-rise apartments continues to grow, ceiling cavities are also being reduced to a minimum, in order to gain maximum saleable space and condense the areas that can’t be seen or lived in. To meet the demands of such compact ceiling cavities, Studco introduced the patented Slimceil low clearance ceiling system.

Using just two components – the Slimceil channel and bracket, the Slimceil system allows for ceilings to be constructed with as little as 37-108mm cavities. Slimceil is suitable for all cladding types, with a secure locking system and is engineered to support a maximum ceiling load of 85kg/m2.*
